About Is it worthwhile to travel to Boston

Is it worthwhile to travel to Boston?
I'm from the UK and I'm quite interested in going to Boston sometime in the summer next year after I graduate. What's the atmosphere like, do you live there or have you travelled there before and would you recommend it?

YES!!!! its VERY worth it! If your looking for shopping you can go to the prudential Mall, or if you just wanna hang out you should go to the quincy market, only go to the freedom trail on sunny days, once in a while theres a fun fair to attend!

It's worth going. Sometimes it gets very hot and humid in the city, but there are beaches just a short drive, bus, or train ride away. Also, there are outdoor plays and concerts and a very relaxed atmosphere. Many students stay in town for the summer, so the social scene is pretty lively. Don't miss out on Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard, which are excellent day trips -- especially if you can travel there during the week when the traffic isn't so bad.
Answer 7 :

Answer 8 :
nooo... not worth it. go to NYC
Answer 9 :
Visited there a couple weeks ago and wished I had more time to explore. If you are going to be there for more than a day or two, would recommend you renting a car and seeing some of the sights in the rest of New England. For us Yanks, they are all relatively close, we spent a week and went through seven of the "New England" states with no problem and had a fabulous time. If I had to do it again though, I would split it up and spend a week on the coast, then a week in the western areas of Vermont, Massachusetts and eastern New York.
Answer 10 :
Boston is totally worth the trip.
